Maison Le Grand Georges - Living room by *Bestarns is fascinating in how age is conveyed to us through the bad state of the surroundings, yet there are objects that used to define this place as home. The place itself seems to hold a lot of history and depth to it that we can't immediately grasp the entirety of from a first glance. (

In a way, this photo makes me sad. My house had caught fire around Christmas when I was 11 years old. I still remember when we were allowed to go back into the house to get the stuff we could and the way the items still sat there. Much like those plates, I remember going up into my room and (remember, I was 11) seeing my Pokemon pillow sitting on my bed, darkened from the smoke. I still remember crying from that. I remember my mother and father crying because their cat and dog were taken in the fire.
